About Collier-Blocker-Puryear Park Center

The Collier-Blocker-Puryear Park Complex is a 7 acre park at the intersection of Holmes Blvd and County Road 214 in West St. Augustine / St. Johns County. The park includes a Community Center with indoor meeting space. Amenities include restroom facilities, a lighted pavilion with picnic tables and electric service provided, playground, tennis courts (2), basketball courts (2), grills, volleyball court, softball/baseball field, and horseshoe pit.

Collier-Blocker-Puryear Park is beautifully treed with lush grass surrounding the park. Parking is available in the southwest quadrant of the park.

Center Hours

• Monday – Friday 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  Saturday & Sunday by reservation

Youth Programs

• After School Care
  Monday – Friday
  2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  In conjunction with the Northeast Florida Community Action Agency, an after school care is for children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade is offered. Time is provided for children to complete homework and take part in extra recreational activities during these hours. After school care with supervision is offered for a limited number of middle school age children through the agency.

• Summer Recreation Program
  June – August
  Monday – Friday
  7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  Our Program provides an opportunity for children ages 6-12 years of age to enjoy the summer in a safe, sound environment, with an emphasis on group games and team concept.

Adult Programs

• Adult Computer Lab
  Monday – Friday
  6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Pavilion

Available for rent per Site Supervisor’s permission. Please see the Pavilions page for locations, rental information and permit applications.

Community Meeting Space

Available for rent per Site Supervisor’s permission. Various local Community Organizations use the Center as their regular meeting place. Below are groups that meet here regularly:

• Consumer Credit Counseling
