Elementary Camp Sites
Camps for children ages 6-12 at multiple locations in our county. We work with our local School Board to provide camps in all four districts of St. Johns County. Our camps are geared towards outdoor play and are staffed by experienced and motivated leaders within our community. Each site participates in three exciting field trips, arts & crafts activities, and swimming once a week at minimal prices.
Registration into the program is based on a computer generated lottery to provide an equal opportunity to all members of our community. Stay posted to find out when our Lottery registration will be held for the upcoming Super Summer Spectacular Program.
Middle School Camp Sites
Are you looking for some relaxation this summer? Don’t want to worry about where your teen is or who they’re hanging out with? Then join the REC staff as we celebrate being a grumpy teenager in style. Our staff has created a relaxing and stress free environment for teens that offer something for everyone; TV, computers, an indoor gymnasium, climbing wall, sport wall, and their own personal park.
This camp is offered at the W.E. Harris Cultural Arts Community Center located in Hastings and Ketterlinus Gymnasium in St. Augustine. Children ages 12-14 are encouraged to join in the fun as we spend the day playing dodge ball in the gym, visiting local parks and spending time with friends. Parents can relax knowing their teen is safe spending their days with the Recreation Departments Teen Camp Summer Staff.
