Open Government Resources
Your Right to Access Information
The State Constitution provides local citizens with a right of access to County meetings and records (View Online Agendas / Minutes ). Disclosure is the standard, unless the Legislature determines that a public necessity compels exemption from the State's strong open government laws.
St. Johns County is dedicated to maintaining and building public trust in government by keeping government open and accessible to the citizens it serves. This page serves as a resource to those seeking to become more familiar with the requirements of open government laws.
